Careers and Earning Money

Many people your age dream of being astronauts, doctors, teachers, business owners, bakers, artists, or many other possible jobs. Some are drawn to helping people. Some are drawn to making things. Some like to be leaders of other people. Have you looked into what kind of training these jobs require? Some require very little, and others require a lot.

Doctors and lawyers, for example, need a lot of training. Doctors need to go to medical school after they finish college, and lawyers need to go to law school.

Different careers pay different amounts of money. Often, the careers that take many years of training also pay a lot of money. But sometimes, careers that take only a little training can also pay a lot.

If you decide to own your own business, you might need training for that, and it is possible to earn a lot of money with it.
